General Terms & Conditions
Jibbitz in a Jar Competition
1. These terms and conditions govern the participation in the Jibbitz in a Jar competition (the “competition”), organized by Crocs Europe B.V., (Planeetbaan 4, 2132 HZ Hoofddorp, The Netherlands Chamber of Commerce No. 27276812; “Crocs”, “we”, “us” or “ours”). Those taking part in the competition shall be referred to as “Contestant”, “you”, “your”.
2. No purchase of any products is required to participate in the competition;
3. Participation in the competition is free of charge except for the costs of your internet connection to access the competition;
4. The competition is open to anyone except employees of any Crocs group company;
5. You have to be a resident of the European Union;
6. You will need to guess the number of Jibbitz shoe charms in the jar. A picture of the jar can be found in the application on Crocs Europe facebook page.
7. The first Contestant to answer the correct number of Jibbitz charms in the jar or in case none of the Contestants guesses the exact number, the Contestant with the answer closest to the exact number of Jibbitz charms in the jar, will win a prize;
8. The prize is one (1) pair of Crocs’ LoPro Canvas Mid-Top sneaker in Island green/white and one (1) Strap Jibbitz™.
9. You will need to provide us with your personal information as requested upon participation, in order for us to contact and send the prize to you if you are the winner;
10. Your personal information shall not be used for any other purpose unrelated to your participation in this competition.
11. The competition will be hosted using Shoutlet, which is a third party application/platform..
12. The competition will be open for participation from Monday March 4th, 2013 to Wednesday March 6th, 2013.
13. The correct answer will be announced on Facebook on Wednesday March 6th, 2013 at 14:00 and the winner will be notified via email. Return of an e-mail as “undeliverable” or not responding to this email within 48 hours will result in your disqualification and an alternative winner will be selected;
14. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this competition should any virus, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, or other causes beyond our control and in our sole opinion corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper operation of the competition or for any other reason;
15. None of the prizes is redeemable for cash;
16. False or deceptive entries or acts contrary to these terms & conditions of participation will render the Contestant ineligible for the competition and prize;
17. This competition is governed by Dutch law and any dispute in relation to this competition will be exclusively submitted to the courts of Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
